Before committing to working with A Sugary Cloud for your upcoming event, please read through the below terms. Theses policies serve as a contract between the customer and A Sugary Cloud / Samantha McBriarty. When payment has been submitted, the customer is agreeing to these terms in full and in a case of Weddings will be signed for further representation.

Terms & Conditions
The terms of agreement and policies for working with A Sugary Cloud are listed out in various sections to the right.
Items that are applicable to Wedding & Larger Events will be highlighted in BLUE, whereas items relating only to celebration cakes will be highlighted in PURPLE. Any items not highlighted pertain to both types of events.
Forms of Payment Accepted:
Payments I accept are Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, and Google Pay. If you don't have any of those methods I can also send you a PayPal Invoice but there will be an additional processing fee added. When applicable, and on a case by case basis, you may be able to pay a deposit and continue to pay in installments until final payment is complete.
Celebration Cake Payments:
Payments for celebration cakes are due upfront at the time you receive your invoice. After we have discussed all of the details I will email you the updated info and invoice and you will have 5 days to make your payment. If you do not pay by the fifth day you forfeit your date and I cannot guarantee it will still be available. Once your final payment is complete, any changes to design, flavors, or date are subject to availability.

Celebration Cake Delivery:
Delivery is $1.00 per mile round trip from Hill Ave, Wallingford CT. Pickup is always free! Deliveries beyond 30 miles one way are subject to availability. A Sugary Cloud/Samantha McBriarty are not responsible for any damage to the cakes after delivery and setup is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment. Optimal room temperature of 70 degrees or below is preferred and cake must be refrigerated if received more than an hour before your event begins.

Wedding & Larger Event Deposits:
A $100 deposit is due at the time you decide to book with me. This deposit is nonrefundable and will guarantee that your date will be held while we finalize your details.

Wedding & Larger Event Payments:
We must receive the balance by the due date indicated or contract is null and void, and deposit will not be refunded. The date of your final payment is the final date for any changes of size, style or flavors of the cake. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.
Wedding & Larger Event Delivery & Setup:
Delivery and setup is a minimum of $30 for up to 20 miles one way from Wallingford, CT. Any distance beyond 20 miles is an additional $1.00 per mile. Deliveries beyond 50 miles one way are subject to availability. A Sugary Cloud/Samantha McBriarty are not responsible for any damage to the cakes after setup is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment. Optimal room temperature of 70 degrees or below.
Wedding & Larger Event Flowers:
If flowers are provided by an outside source, we will arrange up to 10 stems free; $1 for each additional stem. You acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants.

Wedding & Larger Event Sole Provider:
When you agree to have A Sugary Cloud make the cake for your event you are also agreeing to not have cake by any other baker/bakery. This would mean that the cake A Sugary Cloud provides is the only cake the guests will eat and there will not be supplemental sheet cakes from another source. Having cake at a wedding is a tradition but not a necessity, and if having a big, decorated cake to feed the whole wedding isn't most important to you, then getting a small cutting cake is a great way to still incorporate that tradition! A lot of time guests will not eat or even have a chance to eat the cake, so is it really worth it to get a basic sheet cake that wont be the best quality or as wonderful as your cutting cake? I also wouldn't want anyone to mistake the sheet cake for being something I made, if they ask where your cake was from. If you are having any other desserts, or if your caterer has small dessert options I would go with that as an additional option for the guests instead.

Pickup:
If you or your representative elect to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves A Sugary Cloud/Samantha McBriarty’s possession.
Photography & Socials:
On occasion we will photograph our cakes and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
Allergies:​
Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and will not hold A Sugary Cloud/Samantha McBriarty responsible for allergic reactions.
Force Majeur:
Performance of this agreement is contingent upon the ability of A Sugary Cloud/Samantha McBriarty to complete the agreement and is subject to COVID-19, accidents, Acts of God, and other causes beyond our control.
